M E E T  O U R  D I R E C T O R S

Linda Stephenson is happy to be returning for her sixth summer as Director of Camp Funtime. With a degree in Child Development, she has been teaching Preschool since 1975. She has held various directorships and teaching positions at local schools and day camps and has directed many different types of day camp programs since 1978. Linda is an active member in the American Camp Association and the Western Association of Independent Camps, attending meetings and conferences throughout the year in order to ensure Camp Funtime upholds the highest standards. When she is not at Camp Funtime, she enjoys camping, skiing, gardening and spending time with her dogs.

Ali Stephenson is returning for her sixth summer at Camp Funtime. She started off as a Senior Counselor, then moved up to a Program Director and is now the Assistant Director. Ali is currently pursuing her degree in Liberal Studies at California State University Northridge and hopes to run her own camp some day. While she is not at Camp Funtime, she works at Westmark School. In her spare time, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, wakeboarding and taking her dogs to the beach.

Carly Rosenblit is returning for her ninth year as a staff member at Camp Funtime. She started as a camper when she was 5 years old, attended sleep away camp, and returned as a Jr. Counselor, Co-Counselor, Sr. Counselor, and is now acting as the Jr. Counselor Coordinator. She is currently pursuing her degree in History at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In her free time, she enjoys photography, spending time with friends and going to concerts.

Jason Chambless is returning for his fifth year at Camp Funtime. He began as a Senior Counselor and later became a Staff Supervisor. Jason joined the US Air-Force after graduating high school to be trained as a Security Forces Member. During the school year, he works at John Burroughs High School in Burbank as an Instructional Aide for the Special Education Department. When he is not working, he likes to play board games with his wife and friends, read, play softball and go camping.

Samantha Parisen is returning for her fourth year at Camp Funtime. She has been a Senior Counselor, but will be a Staff Supervisor this summer. Samantha graduated from California State University, Northridge with her degree in Liberal Studies and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. During the school year she works at different schools as a substitute teacher. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and working out. She is also an advisor and mentor to her former Girl Scout troop and college sorority.
